This course covers all you need to know to grow your own fruit and vegetables, it also covers the marketing aspect should you want to produce commercially. Each Fruit and Vegetable are dealt with individually covering correct planting, nutrition, pest and weed control and harvesting.

SPECIFIC OUTCOME 1

Understand the importance and implement a layout of the garden, composting and mulching and cropping seasons.

Implement a sowing guide and understand the importance of handling crop protection products appropriately and the marketing of garden produce.

The learner is introduced to brassica production including the climatic conditions needed for production.
